CRYSTAL COVE

On Sunday I fell in love.
I think I belong in another time.  On the sand.

California Coast.  Dilapidated. Vacated long ago.
Built as early as the 1930's.
Handsome.
This is where I want to live.
I can not.
California Park Department owns the the whole lot.

  1. These could be such beautiful and charming homes. What a shame.

  2. Hey Jess, You forgot all the beautiful renovated houses that can be rented through the park system for about $150 per night! The state is still working on getting funds to renovate the remaining beach houses. PS "Beaches" was filmed here!

  4. The parks are renovating them, as Karen said. You can rent the new ones out for as low as $30 a night for a bunk room. I just think the old ones are super charming, and needed to be photographed ! Thanks for your comments girls.
